I called this project Wario & Yoshi Corp, making a mash up between two of my absolute favorite things, Nintendo video games, and Alien. I was playing Mario Kart Tour on my phone and in a break I saw on Facebook a nice picture of Weyland Yutani Corp.
I had played a lot of Mario Kart Tour, and I saw a lot of Wario and Yoshi, then a digital illustration with the Weyland Yutani logo, W and Y, Wario and Yoshi, and I had the idea for the mash up.
The most effective thing was to find a suitable font for free use. Logo and colors inspired by the logos of the respective characters are instead simple to create, together with a phrase that reminds us of the motto of the Weyland Yutani revisited in a Nintendo key.
The result was Wario & Yoshi Corp “Eggs & Ancient Worlds”.
