Years ago I wanted to return to the street art scene, anonymously with a new Tag, I chose Ix for a number of reasons, it adapted well to the idea of creating graffiti with a particular lettering that reminded some objects, as well as the two letters of the name. Already in some drawings I used to put street poles, so I sketched a pole with a hanging sign, and it reminded me of a medikit, like the ones you see in some video games, or the sign of a pharmacy.
These are the first sketches that I did perfecting the initial drawing, arriving at the definitive one that I then realized with a hand-drawing program for Nintendo 3DS, called Colors! 3D, giving a mold a bit too cartoonistic. You can see the process here.
I liked the final effect, and when I begin to work a little digitally I created a vectorial version, perhaps not really very precise, but still effective.
Every time I try new techniques or types of drawings I recreate this design as if it were a test. Here, for example, is a three-dimensional version that I tried to create when I tried to learn 3D design.
Beyond these are other objects that I have transformed into graffiti, and other versions of the latter to be explored, the final result is very round, but the first sketch was very square and sooner or later I will take it up again to create a new and a little different version of Ix.
Edit: I vectorized the first two sketches.
